Welcome to ZipAppointments® (“ZipAppointments,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use immediately.
Purpose of the Platform
ZipAppointments® is an online appointment coordination platform that enables users within the United States to schedule and manage appointments with independent third-party businesses.
We operate strictly as a booking facilitator.
We do not:
- Provide medical, legal, cosmetic, wellness, or other professional services
- Employ, control, supervise, or manage participating businesses
- Guarantee pricing, availability, quality, safety, legality, or service outcomes
- Act as an agent, representative, or partner of any business
All services are performed solely by independent third-party businesses. Any professional relationship is formed directly between the user and the selected business.
Appointment Booking and Coordination
When a user submits a booking request through the platform:
- ZipAppointments® coordinates the appointment request with the selected business.
- Confirmation may be provided via email, SMS, or dashboard notification.
- Final appointment availability is subject to approval by the business.
ZipAppointments® does not guarantee appointment acceptance, time slot availability, or service completion.
Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling
How Users May Cancel or Reschedule
Users may cancel or reschedule appointments by:
- Clicking the Cancel Appointment option within their account dashboard, and
- Providing a cancellation reason when prompted, or
- Contacting ZipAppointments® Customer Support (CST) directly for assistance.
Once submitted through the platform, cancellation requests are processed automatically.
Users do not contact participating businesses through the platform's cancellation workflow.
Business Cancellation Policies
Cancellation rules, including notice requirements, penalties, deposits, prepayments, no-show fees, or refund conditions, apply only if the participating business has established and communicated such policies.
ZipAppointments®:
- Does not impose its own cancellation fees
- Does not create independent cancellation penalties
- Does not determine refund eligibility
Any cancellation-related charges or refund decisions are determined solely by the participating business.
Payments and Deposits
ZipAppointments® does not process payments directly through its website or platform.
If a participating business requires a deposit, advance payment, or prepayment, the business may provide payment instructions or payment links that may be relayed to customers by ZipAppointments® Customer Support solely as a convenience.
ZipAppointments®:
- Does not collect payment credentials
- Does not process payments
- Does not store payment card information
- Does not act as a payment processor
- Does not impose service fees or cancellation fees
- Does not guarantee refunds
Any payment transaction occurs directly between the customer and the participating business. ZipAppointments® is not a party to any payment transaction between users and businesses.
